We measure the overload on every tooth, crown and implant.

Microbite measures how each tooth actually moves under load, contactless and in 4D, and turns it into occlusal overload analysis for treatment planning.

Dentists plan treatment without seeing the bite in motion

Articulating papers, mechanical and virtual articulators, and even advanced digital systems treat teeth as static 3D objects, which doesn't reflect the reality.

What the dentist never sees

  • When each contact occurs
  • How long it lasts
  • In what sequence the teeth make contact

We add a layer of occlusal diagnostics that never existed before

Capture occlusal overload in every treatment plan and prevent costly remakes. Runs as a plug‑in to your CAD/CAM software.

Numbers: order of contact. Arrows: direction and size of the push. Schematic, not patient data.
How to read it

Each number is a tooth's place in the order of contact, 1 first. Each arrow starts at its tooth and points where the tooth is pushed; its length and colour show how far, in three steps.

Our AI learns from tooth micromovements recorded with micron accuracy, 1,000 times per second.

Your workflow stays

No articulating paper, no extra hardware.

The multi-camera system runs in reference centres and pilot sites. Your practice receives Microbite as a plug-in to your CAD/CAM software and an API.

  1. Measure. Contactless multi-camera measurement records each tooth's 6-DoF micromovement and contact sequence during closure.
  2. Analyse. Microbite calculates occlusal overload from the measured movement, tooth by tooth.
  3. Predict. In development: an AI module that estimates overload risk from a standard intraoral scan, calibrated on Microbite measurements.
  4. Plan. Results feed your CAD/CAM workflow for restorations, aligners and implant prosthetics.

Research

We are the world’s first to measure tooth micromovements across the full arch

We have completed the first stage of in vivo studies with the Medical University of Warsaw and validated our measurement device.

  • Camera: what eyes cannot see

  • Positive validation: tooth overload captured

  • An example of a study session

  • The Microbite measurement device on its arm beside a dental chair, with its case and laptop next to it.

Early access for pilot partners

We are selecting a small group of labs and clinics to work with us during validation. Pilot partners get early access, direct input into the product, and preferred terms at launch.

Value for your role

What Microbite is designed to give labs

Advanced digital solutions to transform dental laboratory operations with precision occlusal data and seamless workflow integration

  • Occlusal data based on how teeth actually move, not on static models
  • Fewer occlusal adjustments and remakes: the goal of our ongoing validation
  • Digital articulation input that fits your existing CAD/CAM workflow
  • A shared, objective reference for lab-dentist communication

One measurement, five places it changes decisions

  • Implants & All-on-X

See how the load is shared across a full‑arch prosthesis before it is screwed in for good.

  • Aligners

Check, stage by stage, whether the occlusion you planned is actually arriving.

  • Intraoral scanners

A time layer on top of the contact map you already scan: which contact arrives first, and for how long.

  • Dental materials

The load a tooth actually receives in the mouth, as a test input for aligner, restorative and implant materials, instead of a guessed lab load.

  • Bruxism

When the load keeps rising closure after closure, the pattern shows which teeth and restorations are at risk, before they fail.

More applications are in preparation.

FAQ

Articulating paper works. Isn't this just an improvement I can ignore?
Paper shows where teeth touched; it cannot show when, for how long or how far a tooth moved. The cost of what it misses is already in your month: adjustment visits, chipping, loosened screws, aligner refinements. Pulse oximetry and continuous glucose monitoring were “just improvements” on judging by eye, too; once the measurement existed, not measuring became the risk.
Do I have to buy hardware?
No. The multi-camera measurement system is operated in reference centres, labs and pilot sites. Your practice receives Microbite as software: a plug-in to your CAD/CAM system and an API. The predictive module, trained on those measurements, is designed to estimate the load dose from a standard intraoral scan you already take (in development).
Is Microbite a certified medical device?
Not yet. We develop it under the EU MDR with Class IIa certification planned; until then it is used in clinical research and with pilot partners. Class IIa means notified-body assessment and a requirement for clinical evidence, which is what the study with the Medical University of Warsaw is for.
How does Microbite integrate with my existing CAD/CAM system?
Microbite is being designed as an add-on to existing CAD/CAM workflows, using standard file formats. Specific integrations will be confirmed with pilot partners during validation.
What kind of accuracy improvements can I expect?
Microbite measures tooth micromovement at micrometre-level resolution, without articulating paper or other intermediate materials. Clinical benefit is being evaluated in a study with the Medical University of Warsaw; we will publish results once validated.
How steep is the learning curve for my team?
We are building Microbite around terminology and workflows dentists and technicians already use. Pilot partners receive direct onboarding from our team.
What technical support is included with Microbite?
During the pilot phase, partners work directly with the Microbite team. Support packages will be defined at commercial launch.
How is patient data protected and who owns the analysis?
Patient data belongs to your practice or lab. Microbite is being built to meet GDPR requirements, with data encrypted in transit and at rest.
Can Microbite be used for various dental specialties?
Microbite is designed for restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, orthodontics (including aligners) and implant prosthetics. Specialty modules are in development.
